What is fog?

Fog is a low cloud. It comes because wet air gets cool. Tiny water drops float near you. They make far things look blurry.

Fog is made of tiny water drops floating in the air close to the ground. Air often holds water as an invisible gas called water vapor. When that air cools, some vapor changes into liquid drops, called condensation. Billions of drops scatter light, so the world looks pale and fuzzy. Fun fact: some desert plants and animals can get drinking water from fog!
