What is methane?
Methane is a type of gas that we can't see or smell. It is made up of tiny particles called molecules. Methane is produced when things like cows burp, when plants rot, or when we burn things like wood. It is also found underground and under the ocean. Methane is important because it can be used as a source of energy, but too much of it in the air can be bad for the environment.
