How is bread made?

Bread is made by mixing flour, water, a little yeast, and salt into dough. Yeast makes tiny bubbles in the dough, like air puffing up a balloon. The bubbles make the dough rise and feel soft. Then the dough is shaped and put in a hot oven. The heat bakes it into bread with a firm outside and a soft inside.
